As a producer/engineer, I have worked with artists like Boyz II Men, Luther Vandross, Johnny Gill, Phyllis Hyman, Keith Sweat, and more. Prior to graduating from Delaware State University, my R and B band, "Final Mixx", won the 1989 National Budwieser Showdown Band Competition, which resulted in a recording contract with Motown Records. During my time at Motown, I was able to build my career in recording, engineering, and the technology of music. I am currently employed at Delaware State University where I serve as the Music Technology Specialist. In addition to working at the university, I also own a private recording studio where I work with DSU student interns seeking additional hands on experience in the production and recording environment.

  1. Very nice Marty! Your videos are always clean and well put together. Are you using FC Pro or Express? I'm guessing your not using the logitech head set mic either.

  2. Hi Marty, what an excellent, fantastic advertisement you created for Wallwisher.com. Wow! I am so impressed with the quality of your presentation and also the application. Your ad here made me want to rush to my google search engine and start looking for Wallwisher so I can create one! What a great tool. I think I could definitely use this for when I teach graphic design one day. Just thinking of the endless possibilities for its use is boggling my mind! Thanks for sharing this. Your production quality has me wanting to go up a notch or two on my own video work from now on!!

  3. Thanks, Zoe! I thought Wallwisher was a pretty good find. I noticed Professor Lucas used it for his "One Day on Earth" Project. I really like it, and I'm glad to hear that you may be able to find uses for Wallwisher as well.

Here's a tip on getting really good video quality:

If you have about $60 to spare somewhere along the line, purchase the one year account registration with Vimeo.com. They host online video just like our Viddler channel, but the encoding process of HD video is incredible. I noticed that many serious filmmakers use this video player so I figured I'd give it a try, and all I can say is I made the right choice. No more YouTube.
